You are the real architect of air safety. We give you the sharpest drawing tools.
WingMentor is the assessment workbench built for the people who train and assess competent pilots. We capture what happened in the session, structure the evidence against the standards applicable to you, and step back. We help you to complete the assessment and provide an overview, but the line between competency levels is yours to draw. We provide you with the sharpest possible pencil to draw that line, it is your call. With your excellent calls, you design better safety. We simplify it, by report writing so that you can concentrate on what you do best: teach. With WingMentor, you can stop losing hours behind a desk writing reports that nobody really reads. You make the calls, we make writing it all down so much easier.
Then we present you with a mirror. Only for you. Giving you a unique view so that you can become an even better architect. You can take this opportunity, the choice is yours.
Three surfaces. One instructor.
Competency Assessment
A drafting table for CBTA. Frameworks aligned with ICAO Doc 9995 and EASA EBT Manual, ready for the instructor to debrief and assess. Tailored ATO or airline CBTA/EBT frameworks can be easily integrated. It is your program, it are your decisions, we just make it a lot easier.
See competency assessment →Evidence Capture
Tracing paper for the session. Observable behaviours recorded against ICAO PANS-TRG (Doc 9868) and your framework, preserved exactly as they happened.
See evidence capture →Instructor Debrief
The finished drawing. Your read of the session, backed by the evidence you marked, delivered to the trainee. We give instructors a unique mirror they have never seen before.
See the debrief →From the cockpit door to the trainee's hand.
Capture
The session unfolds. Observable behaviours land on the timeline in the operator's words, timestamped to the moment they happened. The instructor stays free to teach.
Mark
A behaviour at 04:12 is connected to "manages workload effectively under abnormal conditions". The mark is the instructor's, traceable back to the evidence.
Debrief
The materials are assembled. The instructor reviews, refines, signs off. The trainee receives a document they can study on a phone between rotations.
100k+ hours of instructing across airlines and ATOs.
The team behind WingMentor has spent careers in cockpits and simulators. We know what it takes to train an ab initio pilot. We know what it takes to assess a senior examiner. The product is built from that arc, not for it.
"WingMentor is for the instructors who know it is much better to have an ultra-efficient workbench than a hallucinating verdict-machine."
